Please give Leonard a last name...

Posted by porsy - 2 weeks ago

To a hypothetical viewer:

Leonard is one of the main characters for a series Im working on: Something Something Animation ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ue7ZIyQ7R24 ). He has been without a last name for.... 9 MONTHS?? JESSE CROISSANT!!

Option 1: Leonard Alius

In a storyboard for SSA 02, I gave him the placeholder name of "Leonard Alius" for the Latin adjective alius, alia, aliud -translated as 'another'(unless the adjective doest have a modifyee... in which case you would translate it as 'another man/woman/thing',depending on the context)). So his name would sort of be "another Leonard". Which is funny, because, well... I named him after Leonard Nimoy... I dont even really watch Star Trek... Leonard Nimoy is just an awesome name. So my Leonard is another Leonard and NOT Leonard Nimoy. I think thats purty rad!

Option 2: Leonard Montag

I really enjoyed(*1) the book Farenheit 451. It was a relatively easy read and I enjoyed(*2) the way it was written with such fluff... I finished the book in 2 days. Im currently re-reading it. The protagonist, Guy Montag, was originally to be named Leonard Montag, or something like that. Anyways, I was thinking, 'Hold up. LEONARD MONTAG? I have a Leonard too!'. And I decided that maybe I could just snatch that name and name my Leonard 'Leonard Montag'. It has a nice ring to it. Leonard Montag Leonard Montag Leonard Montag Leonard Montag Leonard Montag... Ah yes, Leonard Montag, who was to be a fireman, but became a LEGAL nuke seller instead. Interesting plot hole.

Option 3: LEONARD ALIUS MONTAG

Remember my last two reasons? Ok. Well. Put em in a blender, and now what madness has materialized? Leonard Alius Montag! "Another Leonard Montag" (actually in that case the 'alius' should come first or last.. I think... OH WHO EVEN CARES). Wow, amazing. Bedazzling. I deserve a standing ovation for this astounding occasion; a byproduct of my mother that has a brain! (Also known as: Me.)

PLEASE DONT IGNORE ME, I BEG OF YOU.

TELL ME WHICH ONE YOU LIKE MOST, ALRIGHT. Then things do not have to become gruesome... gruesome as in FLIPPING A THREE SIDED COIN.... WHAT IN THE MOBIUS STRIP.
